My most life-changing experiences have been completely amidst wildlife. From touring South Africa & Namibia (above), to backpacking the Four Corners region (below), each month-long trip presented me with an abundance of life and inspiration. We’ve grown accustomed to living separate from what is natural, trying to live above it, and control it. I reflect on my relationships with nature in my work, emphasizing its necessity through life design. I practice designing for life through healthcare innovation, environmental intervention, and biomimetic inspiration–working strictly with colorFabb’s 100% biodegradable allPHA filament when 3D printing prototypes. I aim to draw attention to the precious things around us on Earth so that we can better integrate into the natural world and assume our positions as members of a global living network.
